YARDDOG ON GAY MARRAIGE

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom officiates the wedding of Del Martin, 87, center left, and Phyllis Lyon, 84, Monday. Martin and Lyon were the first officially married same-sex couple in the state.

I think I must be dreaming ... having this option available in my own life would have changed it beyond belief. I miss you, Jimmy.

Here is a copy of the actual form ...

let's hope this time it will stick as it is their 2nd trip down the aisle (i.e. 2004). would be a pity if it got cancelled on your next elections...'cause at their age, i don't know just how long they could wait 'till people got sense knocked into their heads & see gay marriage is not the threat to "conventional" marriage, but str8 people themselves & the way they treat marriage.

For it to stick, it will take restraint on behalf of the GLBT community, along with a matter of authentic witness, not only amongst our own, but that of straight friends and others. What I find interesting is that what the anti-kingdom people wish to destroy will be fought by a collation of the marginalized.

Daughter no.1, 17 and an innocent abroad, said "What a wonderful picture, but why did they wait so long?"

Its nice to see the acceptance of the young where their elders have messed things up.
