Careful - isn't he the general who looked the other way when walked past Abu Graib?
Iraq is a nightmare - but the sin was original - people are made by God not by man. They do not change by man. We need an end to our foolhearty crusades of nation building.
Yes he is the general who was in charge when Abu Ghaib because an issue. And he paid for his lapse by being demoted. Does that make his comments less creditable? I don't know ... they just ring true for me.
Amen to fool hearty business of nation building ... amen.
